A heavy-duty tool with many uses. Use it to pry apart knots or tangles in heavy-duty rope; pierce holes in soft materials; separate strands in weaving, splicing, or lashing; poke seed holes in soil; you'll come up with more uses for such a sturdy spike.
The spike is hand forged from 5160 spring steel, oil-hardened and flame tempered. The hand turned cherry wood handle is ergonomically shaped and grooved for a superb grip, with a sturdy copper ferrule for lifetime durability.
The sheath is cut and formed by hand from select heavy weight vegetable tanned cow leather. The brass grommets and stitching are carefully laid by hand. The leather is finished with olive oil and sealed with pure beeswax for a look, feel, and aroma that cannot be matched, and will wear in to a lifetime patina.
The spike is 3-1/4 inches; the overall length is 10-1/4".
